Beginner’s Archery Program

Northwoods Archers’ very popular Beginner’s Archery Program introduces archery to anyone who is interested in becoming familiar with the sport. This has turned into a huge success for both youth and parents. The participant actually goes on a walk around course, which consists of 8 to 10 stations. At each station, they learn everything from tuning your bow to tracking a wounded deer. Instructors teach them not only how to shoot archery, but also how to use a compass and track, field dress and tag a deer.  DNR regulations, basic first aid and tree stand safety is also demonstrated hands-on.
